Specifically, today’s coffee price in Bao Loc district (Lam Dong) is 32,200 VND/kg, coffee prices in Di Linh, Lam Ha are low at 32,300 VND/kg. Similar to today’s coffee price in Cu M’gar district (Dak Lak), Ea H’leo (Dak Lak) fluctuates between 32,800 – 33,200 VND/kg. In Buon Ho district, the price of coffee is VND 33,000/kg.
Opening today, Robusta coffee prices on ICE Europe – London dropped. Price of robusta coffee in London delivered in September 2019 is down by 20 USD/ton (1.51% increase), standing at 1,304 USD/ton. While in New York, the price of arabica coffee in September 2019 decreased by 1.7 USD/ton stood at 92.95 cents/lb.
According to the report of the World Coffee Organization (ICO), the average monthly coffee price in July increased by 3% to 103.01 cents/pound. This is the highest monthly average since 11/2018.
However, coffee prices were at a high of 107.87 cents/pound on July 4 and fell to 98.57 cents/pound at the end of the month. The ICO argues that the price support fears in late June and early July disappeared by the end of the month.
Brazilian arabica prices have the largest increase, averaging 105.43 cents/pound, 4.7% higher than June.
Coffee prices in other countries increased 4.4% to 135.47 cents/pound while in Colombia prices rose 3.1% to 137.63 cents/pound. As prices of other countries increased more sharply, the price difference between Colombia and those countries fell 42.6% to 2.16 US cents/pound.
